PILOT
I. Emory Bradford’s Introduction.
His art and violence are displayed through a “dance” of painting on a large canvas in his studio, surrounded by illusions of the women of his past (1999). His murderous secrets are revealed.

III. Lilith's Flashback to 1981.
Lilith’s past catches up to her when she comes across an article related to her mother’s murder.

II. The First Encounter.
They meet at the Art Institute. He invites her to his art show that evening. Lilith leaves “The Garden of Eden,” and Emory remains alone.
​
IV. Emory's Flashback to 1981.
Callum (Emory’s father) teaches Emory (age 15) the components of a “True Kill” and introduces him to his father’s next case involving “The Ripper Crew” (Chicago 1981).



EPISODE02
PALLOR MORTIS
I. Lilith's Secret is Revealed.
Lilith’s macabre artistic traits are exposed: an artistic expression of destruction - an act of mutilation involving rabbits.
III. Emory's Flashback to 1981.
Emory (age 15) - his obsession with "The Ripper Crew” leads to his involvement in Flora’s death. He attempts to save Flora as she bleeds out, but no one comes.
V. Their First Date.
Emory & Lilith go on their first date.
II. Lilith's Actions Explained.
In a flashback, she remembers her mother, Flora, teaching her that "in order to create she must destroy".
IV. Lilith's Flashback to 1981.
Flora’s funeral (1981) at Rosehill Cemetery. Lilith (age 10) & the entire De Leon family arrive at the cemetery. Emory (15) hides amongst the trees (his obsession continues to grow).

EPISODE03
DISPERSAL
I. Exhibit #1
Emory’s first victim is displayed in Chicago through an art installation of the famous “Punch & Judy Show” using the bodies of murdered women.
III. The Dilemma.
Emory brings Lilith to the backyard., where he recounts his troubling past and secret connection to her mother's death.
II. The Second Date.
Lilith is invited to attend a ‘black tie’ event at Bradford Manor as Emory’s Date. Emory clashes with his family at the event revealing his "black sheep" status amongst the Bradfords.
IV. Emory's Story.
In a flashback to 1981, young Emory encounters Flora's corpse, mutilated under the train tracks. He had a traumatizing experience that now defines him.



EPISODE04
ALGOR MORTIS
I. Emory's Past, 1981.
Emory (15) begins Psychotherapy with Joy to cope. Joy’s technique encourages Emory to speak through his art.
III. La Fiesta
Jose (Lilith’s brother) celebrates his High School graduation with a party at their house. Emory is invited and meets Lilith’s entire family.
II. The Victim.
Emory begins his preparations for Victim #2 in his art studio.
IV. Exhibit #2
Emory breaks into Rosehill Cemetery for his second art installation which takes place inside the abandoned church. “Art is often created in abandonment” – Flora.

EPISODE05
ACCUMULATION
I. The Obsession
Lilith & Emory’s relationship grows stronger as Lilith begins piecing things together regarding Emory’s victims.
III. Emory's Memories - Joy
Emory (flashback) reveals the extraction of Joy's head & Emory’s final therapy session.
II. The Investigation
Callum’s detective work focuses on the new murders in Chicago, unbeknownst to Callum that his son is the murderer he longs to catch. Callum and Minerva (Emory’s mother) examine the church crime scene to find that Joy is the second victim.
IV. The Bond
Emory & Lilith share an intimate night where they discuss Flora’s death in detail. Lilith reveals to Emory that she knows what he’s been up to.



EPISODE06
RIGOR MORTIS
I. The Findings
Callum finds Lilith at the church's crime scene; they discuss Emory and Lilith’s intertwined past revealing that Lilith has been ‘watching’ all along. Callum brings Lilith home to Jesus (her father) where the three of them are all brought up to date on the situation regarding Emory.
II. The Third Victim
Emory prepares his third and final victim, leaving clues along the way for Lilith to find.
III. An Unstable Situation
Callum comes to warn his son, begging him to leave the States before things get out of control.
IV. The Labyrinth
Lilith discovers Emory’s clue in Rosehill Cemetery. It leads her to the underground entrance of “Emory’s Labyrinth.”

EPISODE07
FOSSILIZATION
I. A desperate father
Jesus, Lilith’s father, arrives at Bradford Manor looking for his daughter. She’s been missing for 12 hours or more.
III. The Final Steps
Emory executes the final steps in creating his art installation.
II. Lost and Found
Lilith maneuvers her way through the first stage of Emory’s Labyrinth.
IV. Bread Crumbs
Lilith leaves a clue for Callum inside Rosehill Cemetery: the coordinates to "Emory’s Labyrinth".



EPISODE08
LIVOR MORTIS
I. Lilith’s Flashback
Lilith’s past relationship with Joy is revealed. Therapy sessions at age 15 due to her mother's brutal murder.
III. The Last Date
Lilith & Emory share their last moments in the center of the labyrinth.
II. Back in Despair
Lilith fights her way through Emory’s Labyrinth. She becomes drained physically, emotionally, and mentally.
IV. Redemption
Lilith kills Emory in an act of revenge & redemption. She escapes, emerging from the water crib on Lake Michigan as Callum rushes to the scene on a police boat.
